All Things Work For Good Forever.

In this time of trials and tests we have to come to God who is in control of everything. We can do everything in all of our strength but our strength and effort is limited and imperfect. Our strength will fail. We become a failure! We have no power to control our future even if we try and try it will come to nothing unless God who is the Sovereign Lord will bless us and allow things to happen for us.

Money may change things and give us temporary earthly pleasure and comfort, but this thing will not last forever... it will come to a stop and will perish! The Scripture is clear that "And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever." - 1 John 2:17 KJV

I am thankful that God is doing good things for me. I know when God taketh away things or people we love it is not intended for us because it will only destroy us or harm our future and life. So for those friends out there who cannot understand what is going on and why we are suffering and we cannot find a lasting relationship...why people fail us and leave us... why people or friends cannot forgive...why people are merciless and full of condemnation...they are hatefull because you are imperfect...one thing is certain. God who is the Father of us all through Yeshua our Saviour has better things for us. If not in this life we will find our true soul mate... Jesus our true Lover.. waiting for us in glory as the Lord is faithful to His people who will give us our rewards in His Kingdom. Forever! - Raino

"Augustine could say along with Martin Luther the words of Luther's well known hymn: "Let goods and kindred go, this mortal life also." And they could say this because they believed and understood deep in their hearts that all of history, and all that happened to them found its place in the governing hands of the Lord of the universe, a Lord who continues to work out the plan of salvation.

One final note. The text talks about all of this in the context of "those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Rom. 8:28) God's people are being discussed here. Those who do not know the Lord and who remain unrepentant will ultimately not have everything work for the good. Rather such posture invokes the wrath of God. But those who love the Lord can live with the utter security and assurance that they belong to their faithful Savior Jesus Christ, in life and in death, and nothing is able to separate them from the love of God in Christ Jesus.

While we may not in the midst of misery like to hear such statements as found in our text, yet it is true that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him. Surely this is where our comfort lies. Amen." - Extracted from https://www.crcna.org/resources/church-resources/reading-sermons/all-things-work-good
