The Obama administration has a soft spot in its heart for the jihadist Muslim Brotherhood.

Just last month, the U.S. State Department went out of its way to insult the president of Egypt, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, whom the Obama administration should be treating as a valuable ally in the fight against global jihadism, by hosting a delegation of leaders who have been aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood. The State Department’s guests at the meeting, whose visit was arranged and paid for by Georgetown University, included former Freedom and Justice Party members (the Muslim Brotherhood’s political party). One of the State Department officials who met with the delegation was the deputy assistant secretary for democracy, human rights, and labor.

State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki downplayed the importance of the meeting, which she said was “routine at the State Department as they meet political party leaders from across the world.” But the Muslim Brotherhood-aligned guests lost no opportunity to propagandize their grand reception at the State Department. One of them posed for a picture in front of the State Department’s logo, proudly displaying the jihadist group’s notorious four-finger symbol of defiance, known as the R4BIA salute.

Meanwhile, following the State Department meeting, the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt called on its supporters to prepare for “a long, uncompromising jihad.”

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shokry said that the meeting, far from being routine, was “not understandable as they are not a political party, and according to the Egyptian law they should be treated as a terrorist group.”

Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, which are certainly in a position to know first-hand, have also declared the Muslim Brotherhood to be a terrorist group.

President Obama evidently believes otherwise. His favorable attitude towards the jihadist organization goes back to the earliest days of his first term as president, evidenced by his administration’s invitation to Muslim Brotherhood leaders to attend his speech to the Islamic world in Cairo on June 4, 2009. The administration’s outreach to the Muslim Brotherhood has continued unabated ever since.

Back in 2012, for example, members of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood met with U.S. officials including White House staffers. “Following Egypt’s revolution, we have broadened our engagement to include new and emerging political parties and actors,” White House spokesman Tommy Vietor told POLITICO at the time.

In 2013, Mohamed Elibiary, a Muslim Brotherhood supporter who served as a member of the Obama administration’s Homeland Security Advisory Panel, tweeted that America is “an Islamic country” with an “Islamically compliant constitution.” He has argued that the Muslim Brotherhood is comparable to Christian evangelicals. He also displayed the “R4BIA” four-finger salute symbol associated with the Muslim Brotherhood on his Twitter profile. Elibiary quit his post a year later after questions were raised about his alleged radical Islamist ties.

In early 2014, a UK-based Muslim Brotherhood leader met with President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden at the White House, accompanying a delegation of the Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives.

In late 2014, the White House issued a statement claiming that “We have not seen credible evidence that the Muslim Brotherhood has renounced its decades-long commitment to non-violence.” Apparently, the Muslim Brotherhood’s active support for Hamas, itself an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood and still recognized by the U.S. government as a terrorist organization, does not constitute “credible evidence” to the Muslim Brotherhood’s boosters in the Obama White House.

Indeed, the Obama administration is convinced to this day that the Muslim Brotherhood’s participation in Egypt’s political process should continue to be recognized as a legitimate path to genuine democracy in Egypt. On the other hand, they apparently question the legitimacy of President al-Sisi, whom they hold responsible for engineering the overthrow of the elected Muslim Brotherhood-supported former President, Mohamed Morsi.

Never mind that Morsi was usurping powers in his single-minded drive towards imposing a strict code of Islamic law on millions of unwilling Egyptian citizens, who rose up against him in a popular rebellion.

Never mind that President al-Sisi, whatever his own flaws may be, has reached out to the Egyptian Christian community and warned Islamic leaders, whom he addressed last month at Al-Azhar University, the oldest and most prestigious Sunni religious school, that “we are in need of a religious revolution.” He exhorted the imams to act because “this umma is being torn, it is being destroyed, it is being lost – and it is being lost by our own hands.”

Obama did not embrace President al-Sisi’s call for Muslim scholars and religious leaders to examine their own “corpus of texts and ideas that we have sacralized over the years” as the dangerous ideological source of the global jihadist scourge. To the contrary, the Obama administration has embraced the embodiment of the jihadist ideology – the Muslim Brotherhood.

“What this shows is that the widespread rejection of the Muslim Brotherhood across the Middle East, particularly the largest protests in recorded human history in Egypt on June 30, 2013, that led to President Morsi’s ouster, is not recognized by the State Department and the Obama administration,” said Patrick Poole, a terrorism expert and national security reporter. “This is a direct insult to our Egyptian allies, who are in an existential struggle against the Muslim Brotherhood, all in the pursuit of the mythical ‘moderate Islamists’ who the D.C. foreign policy elite still believe will bring democracy to the Middle East,” Poole added.

One of the State Department’s guests last month was Mohamed Gamal Heshmat, an exiled member of the Muslim Brotherhood’s shura council and former parliamentarian. Heshmat claimed he also met with “a representative of the White House.” He added that “The voice of the Egyptian revolution must be loud everywhere.” Heshmat has in the past posed with Hamas Chairman Khaled Meshaal.

Even in its non-violent pose, the Muslim Brotherhood engages in stealth jihad. Its document entitled “An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America,” which was published in 1991, declared: “The Ikhwan [Muslim Brotherhood] must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”

That central goal of the Muslim Brotherhood has not changed in the nearly a quarter of a century since it was enunciated. President Obama, meanwhile, is serving as its enabler.

"I, Witch" New World Order Organization

Doc Marquis, in his book, "Secrets of the Illuminati", has drawn this Great Seal of the New World Order, depicting the various influences and organizations actively involved in the drive to the New World Order. This New World Order Seal is not official; rather, it is simply Marquis' depiction of the occult nature of this new system.

Let us begin at the top.

The All-Seeing Eye atop the page, looking down on all the activity being carried out on his behalf, is Satan, depicted as the Eye of Horus.

The word, "I" depicts the extremely self-centered, self-proclaimed wise and righteous man who is working mightily for Lord Satan to achieve this new system.

"Witch" is extremely important, because the New World Order will be achieved only on the basis of witchcraft, practiced in many different forms and by millions of people during the past two centuries. Witchcraft is nothing more nor less than the worship of Satan.

Out of the "I T C" of "Witch" flows lines that here appear black; however, Doc's original rendering showed these lines to be blood red, depicting the human blood which has already flowed and the human blood which is planned to flow, in order that this system might be established. Notice that this blood flows on top of and around The Illuminati. All three blood flows pour upon the Satanic altar and off the Seal into the world. Christians should not be surprised because much Bible prophecy speaks of great persecution and slaughter during the time of the Great Tribulation.

The outer circle has many organizations which are striving mightily and cooperatively for the New World Order. They are:

Roman Catholic Church

Satanism (Active Worship of Satan)

Secret Society called "Rosicrucianism"

D & D (Dungeons and Dragons Role Playing Game)

(Note: This game system is the perfect instructional manual on practical Satanism)

Satanic Sabbaths (Eight Holy Days per year, each of which requires human sacrifice)

Hebrew Letters written between the English words are from the Jewish secret society, The Cabala. They mean, "Witchcraft Today For As Much Within Ancient Babylon". Translated, this means that the witchcraft being practiced today is the same as that practiced in Ancient Babylon. Further, this Hebraic message is printed backwards, in the ancient tradition of Satanism. The Jewish Cabala is the most influential of all secret societies in the drive to the New World Order, the Anti-Semitic emphasis notwithstanding.

The Second Circle is comprised of the most influential human activity possible. The organizations and/or Forces are:

The Illuminati, (Secret Society modeled after the Roman Catholic Jesuits) From its inception on May 1, 1776, by Adam Weishaupt, the Illuminati has been actively worshipping Satan and developing the Plan for instituting the New World Order.

The Masons (Freemasonry)

Freemasonry has long been an occult secret society, with many of the goals of the New World Order. However, Masons taught that all the necessary changes inherent in the New World Order would take place naturally, as a result of "human evolution". From 1777-1782, Weishaupt's men infiltrated every Masonic Lodge in Europe in order to infiltrate their ideas of actual revolution being necessary to implement these changes. 

In 1782, Freemasonry agreed with the Illuminati as to the necessity of revolution, signing on as co-leaders in the drive to the New World Order. When the Illuminati was put out of business in 1785, Freemasonry became the undisputed leader of the New World Order movement.

The Two Seals of Our Doom (The Two Great Seals of the United States) Masonic leaders on the European Continent believed they must found the North American Continent as the New Atlantis. This New Atlantis would lead the world into the New World Order. The United States was so critically important to the achievement of this goal that supernaturally- designed Great Seals were delivered to Thomas Jefferson to ensure that America would progress according to the occult plan. This is why Marquis placed the two Great Seals of the United States upon Satan's altar. The blood flowing from the altar between the Seals is symbolic of the hundreds of millions of people killed thus far in the Twentieth Century to advance the New World Order, and of the billions who are planned to die in the immediate future.

The House of Rothschild

The Satanic vision for the New World Order could never have been realized had it not been for the immense wealth of the Rothschild Family.

One of Weishaupt's first significant backer was Mr. Rothschild. Family Wealth has since been indispensable in the path to this system. But, why should Christians be surprised, for the Bible states, "The Love of Money is the root of all evil". (2 Timothy 6:10) Indeed, this most evil system in all history is rooted firmly and deeply in the love of money. The Rothschild Family is also one of history's prime examples of Generational Witchcraft (Exodus 20:3-5) The prime example of an American Family who is so involved is the Rockefeller Family, also very heavily into witchcraft.







Rock-n-Roll Music Industry

A former Luciferian like Marquis has no trouble understanding that Rock-n-Roll music is pure, unadulterated witchcraft. Christian authors in the past have made such a statement, only to be laughed at by teens anxious to keep their beloved music. Rock-n-Roll is the perfect medium by which Satanists can teach youngsters the precepts of Satanism. This goal is accomplished by inducing human minds into a higher "stage of consciousness" (mild hypnosis) so that this Satanism can penetrate directly into their subconscious. Rock-n-Roll is preparing two entire generations of children for the values of the New World Order.




The Black Pope

In 1541, the Pope created the Satanic Secret Society known as the Jesuits. The goal of the Jesuits was to reverse the Reformation, to root out heretics, and to generally wage a constant state of war against all enemies of the church. The Jesuits were subjected to the absolute, total control of a general who was known as the Black Pope. This Black Pope is an adept in the Black Arts of Satanism. While the Jesuits are bound to obey both the Black and White Popes, the Black Pope is believed to wield the real absolute power within the Vatican, beginning in the early 1700's. The Black Pope has consistently moved the R. C. Church deeper into practice of witchcraft. This goal of officially taking over the R.C. Church for Satan has arrived at the late stage whereby the Public Pope is now using a non-traditional Crucifix, the one called the Twisted Cross. This Twisted Cross was created by Satanists in the Middle Ages as their symbol of Anti-Christ. Thus, when Pope John Paul II holds this Twisted Cross up to the faithful, as he does constantly, they are unknowingly bowing to the symbol of Anti-Christ. This is one of those never-before occurrences in world history that strongly suggests the beginning of the Great Tribulation generally and the Roman Catholic Pope as the False Prophet specifically.

Satan's Inner Circle

Notice the Hexagram on which Satan's altar is resting. Since this hexagram is surrounded by a circle, it becomes a Demon Trap, which we now know is THE most powerful tool possible to conjure up a demon so that he can be forced to do that which the Witch wants him to do. Thus, we have Satan represented at the top of this entire New World Order Plan (The All-Seeing Eye) and at the very inner core (The Demon Trap).

Satan's Altar is highly significant. Human sacrifice is required on this altar, as are abominations against God of every conceivable stripe. Marquis has chosen to drive home this point by pouring human blood over the altar and by showing the Anti-Christ Inverted Cross on one of the ends. The importance of the United States of America is clearly represented by the "Two Seals Of Our Doom".

Let us now step backward and look at the organizations contained within this Great New World Order Seal, from another angle. Since this new order is to be comprised of three distinct elements -- Spiritual/Political/Economic -- let us examine each of these organizations as to which of these three elements each represents:

Secret Societies -- The Illuminati, The Rosicrucians, and The Freemasons

Isn't it terribly revealing that the only political entity which Marquis lists as being an integral part of the drive to the New World Order is the United States of America? Furthermore, this country is listed as the official seal of Satan's altar, next to the heart of Satan himself.

Why only the United States of America? There have been other, more wicked and more deadly countries in this deadly Twentieth Century. For example:

The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR)

Persecutions and WORLD WAR III

Bible Believing Christians specifically in the Reformed Faith are firm and strong believers in God's Sovereignity. It is God who is in total control, and all around Him are only instruments of His ordained plan before the world ever begun. God has ordained specific events in history and these events in history are part of His plan until the coming of His Son the Messiah. The Holy Scripture is clear about "rumours of wars" as Jesus Christ of Nazareth prophesied in the Gospel of Matthew. He said; "And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places." (Matthew 24:6-7)

If ever World War III will break out tomorrow or in the next few years, the Lord has assured us that these things must come to pass and it's not yet the END OF THE WORLD. We must not be troubled. He is in total control of everything. Let us remember that what we hear and see from the world's main stream mass media, news like EBOLA VIRUS, TROPICAL TYPHOONS, EARTHQUAKES, FAMINES and so on are sure to come but THE END is not yet... We are often mislead by many false teachers that these things are SIGNS of HIS SECOND COMING and THE END OF THE WORLD. There is no further from the truth. Let us not be deceived by these false teachers and false prophets who twist the Word of God and cast spell on people not only to deceive but to gain filthy lucre from them who are being deceived. We know these people are all over the world and we know their doctrine is of the devil. (See 1 Timothy 4:1, 2 Peter 2:1, 1 John 4:6)

Man's history is full of many wars, earthquakes, pestilence, etc. I have no exact statistics since the beginning of time of how many of these things and events happened and occurred in the planet. Perhaps there were hundreds or even thousands of wars were fought since Jesus Christ of Nazareth said those words in the Book of Matthew 24. I can only speculate that perhaps there were 100's of major deadly diseases occurred from the 15th century to the present time. Who knows? Written history is not that precise nor there are profoundly recorded evidences we can refer to of how many wars, hunger and earthquakes, etc happened in the last few centuries. But I can assure you according to His words that these things will surely come to pass but THE END OF THE WORLD is not yet. So what are these things then? If we read and understand the Book of Matthew 24, Jesus Christ of Nazareth is talking to His disciples and of course to us His children who will read the Bible... and saying that these things will happen. He said expect these events to come and "see that ye be not troubled". The Lord said do not be bothered by these things because they will be SURELY events that will distress you. I believe He is saying BE STRONG & ENDURE (Mt.24:12) because these events are frightening. The word of the Lord are assurance to the disciples that these events must come but make sure it will not weaken you and give you fear for it is not yet the end of the age. Although if we read further we will understand that these events will be the beginning of sorrows. The Lord made it clear these events will give us sorrow, sadness, weeping, suffering, heartache, misery and so on BUT BE STRONG! The Lord also said; "Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended , and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise , and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound , the love of many shall wax cold . But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved ." (Mat. 24:9-12)

Indeed these things are happening. The Church from the time of the apostles until now is in tribulation until the coming of the great God and Saviour Jesus Christ before His Angel will preach the Everlasting Gospel of the Kingdom to the whole world (Revelation 14:6) then The End will come.

Christian Persecutions.

I'd like to lead you now to the article of J. Warner Wallace (a Cold-Case Detective, a Christian Case Maker, and the author of Cold-Case Christianity) entitled, Were the Early Christians Really Persecuted? 

I have copied and pasted below extracts from his article entitled, Were the Early Christians Really Persecuted? where you will read about how the Disciples of Jesus and the Ancient Church were AFFLICTED, KILLED, and HATED because of Jesus of Nazareth (Mat. 24:9-10)

" The Persecution of the Apostles Was Anticipated by the Gospel Authors

The New Testament Gospel authors (writing the earliest accounts of the life of Jesus and his followers) described the threat of persecution even while Jesus was alive. They documented Jesus’ repeated warnings to his followers related to persecution (i.e. Matthew 24:9, John 15:18-21, John 16:1-4, Luke 14: 25-33).

The Persecution of the Apostles Was Described by the Author of Acts

Luke described the immediate persecution of the disciples following the Ascension of Jesus in his Book of Acts (written in the 1st Century):

Peter and John were arrested (Acts 4:3 and Acts 5:18),

Stephen was stoned to death (Acts 6 and 7),

The believers were persecuted as a group (Acts 8:1),

Members were pulled from their homes and taken to prison (Acts 8:3),

King Herod put James (the brother of John) to death and arrested Peter (Acts 12).

The Persecution of the Apostles Was Described Personally by New Testament Authors

Paul (writing again the 1st Century) described his consistent persecution (i.e. 2 Corinthians 11:24-28) and Luke corroborated Paul’s suffering:

In Jerusalem, Paul spoke openly and challenged the Hellenists. They, in turn, tried to kill him (Acts 9:28-30)

In Antioch, the Jewish leadership encouraged persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and eventually expelled them from the area (Acts 13:48-52)

In Iconium, both Jews and Gentiles attempted to stone Paul and Barnabas, forcing them to flee to Lystra (Acts 14:5-6)

The Jewish residents of Lystra convinced the citizenry to stone Paul as well. He nearly died from this stoning but was rescued by the disciples (Acts 19-20)

Paul and Silas were beaten openly and thrown into prison in Philippi (Acts 16:19-40)

In Berea, the Thessalonian Jewish believers incited the crowd and forced Paul to flee by sea (Acts 17:13-14)

Paul was eventually arrested in Caesarea and taken Governor Felix (Acts 24:1). He was ultimately taken to Rome where he was placed in house arrest under guard (Acts 28)

The Persecution of the Apostles Was Described by the Second Generation of Christian Authors

The early students of the Apostles described the martyrdom of their teachers in ancient non-Biblical documents. They also described the persecution of other early Christians.

Clement of Rome (80-140 AD) confirmed Peter “endured not one but many labors, and thus having borne his testimony went to his appointed place of glory” (1 Clement 5:4). Clement also confirmed Paul “had been seven times in bonds, had been driven into exile, had been stoned” (1 Clement 5:5) and “when he had borne his testimony before the rulers, so he departed from the world and went unto the holy place, having been found a notable pattern of patient endurance” (1 Clement 5:6).  Clement also described “sudden and repeated calamities and reverses which are befalling us” (1 Clement 1:1).

Ignatius (105-115 AD) described Paul as a martyr (The Epistle of Ignatius to the Ephesians, Chapter 12). He also described himself as a “a condemned man” and anticipated his martyrdom in Rome, where he would “become food for the wild beasts, through whose instrumentality it will be granted me to attain to God” (The Epistle of Ignatius to the Romans, Chapter 4). Ignatius also referred to the persecution of the Church in Antioch (The Epistle of Ignatius to the Philadelphians, Chapter 10).

Polycarp (110-140 AD) described the martyrdom of Paul “and the rest of the Apostles” in addition to the martyrdom of “Ignatius and Zosimus and Rufus” along with “others also who came from among yourselves” (Letter of Polycarp to the Philippians 9:1)

The Persecution of the Second Generation of Christians Was Described by Subsequent Authors

Followers of the Church Fathers wrote about the martyrdom of these early Church leaders, claiming they were following the examples of the Apostles.

Clement was banished from Rome by Emperor Trajan and forced to work in a stone quarry reportedly drowned as a martyr (c. 99AD)

Ignatius was reportedly martyred in the Roman Colosseum under Emperor Trajan (c. 117AD)

Polycarp was reportedly martyred (along with six others) by Antoninus Pius (c. 160AD). After refusing to recant his faith, he told his persecutors, “Eighty and six years have I served him, and he never did me wrong, how then can I blaspheme my king who hath saved me?”

Justin Martyr was prosecuted (together with his companions) by Junius Rusticus. Justin was ultimately beheaded as a martyr (c. 165AD)

The Persecution of 1st and 2nd Century Christians Was Described by Ancient Non-Christians

Early non-Christian sources confirm the persecution accounts of the early Church.

Tacitus described the persecution of Christians in Rome (c. 64-68AD) within 30 years of Jesus’ crucifixion. “Nero falsely accused and executed with the most exquisite punishments those people called Christians.”  According to Tacitus, some Christians “were seized who admitted their faith, and then, using the information they provided, a vast multitude were convicted, not so much for the crime of burning the city, but for hatred of the human race.” These early Christians were brutally executed, “and perishing they were additionally made into sports: they were killed by dogs by having the hides of beasts attached to them, or they were nailed to crosses or set aflame, and, when the daylight passed away, they were used as nighttime lamps.” (Annals)

Suetonius (69-122AD) also described the persecution of the early Christians. He said Emperor Claudius (41-54 AD) “expelled them from Rome,” (The Lives of the Twelve Caesars;Claudius 25)and reported that, under Nero, “punishment was inflicted on the Christians, a class of men given to a new and mischievous superstition” (The Lives of the Twelve Caesars;Nero 16)

Pliny the Younger (Governor of Pontus / Bithynia) confirmed the persecution of Christians in his letter to Emperor Trajan (c. 112AD).  He asked the Emperor “whether pardon is to be granted for repentance, or, if a man has once been a Christian, it does him no good to have ceased to be one; whether the name itself, even without offenses, or only the offenses associated with the name are to be punished.” Pliny told Trajan, “I interrogated these as to whether they were Christians; those who confessed I interrogated a second and a third time, threatening them with punishment; those who persisted I ordered executed.” Pliny excused those who rejected Christ and proved their allegiance to the Roman gods: “Those who denied that they were or had been Christians, when they invoked the gods in words dictated by me, offered prayer with incense and wine to your image, which I had ordered to be brought for this purpose together with statues of the gods, and moreover cursed Christ–none of which those who are really Christians, it is said, can be forced to do–these I thought should be discharged. Others named by the informer declared that they were Christians, but then denied it, asserting that they had been but had ceased to be, some three years before, others many years, some as much as twenty-five years. They all worshipped your image and the statues of the gods, and cursed Christ.” Trajan, in his response to Pliny, confirms the means by which early Christians could avoid persecution: “If they are denounced and proved guilty, they are to be punished, with this reservation, that whoever denies that he is a Christian and really proves it, that is, by worshiping our gods, even though he was under suspicion in the past, shall obtain pardon through repentance.”

The Persecution of 1st and 2nd Century Christians Was Described by Ancient Christians

Early Christian leaders wrote about the ongoing persecution of believers

Justin Martyr (100-164AD) described the continuous persecution of the Christian community in a letter to Emperor Augustus Caesar. He wrote, “You can kill us, but cannot do us any real harm” (The First Apology of Justin Martyr)

Tertullian (160-225 AD) described the suffering of the early Christians as he wrote to Roman governors in an attempt to stem the persecution of Christians in his era (Apologeticus)

Even the most skeptical critics of Christian history typically accept the 3rd and 4th Century records of large scale persecution of Christians under Emperor Decius (c. 250’s AD), Valerian (c. 260’s AD), Diocletian (c. 280’s AD) and Galerius (early 300’s AD). These four emperors persecuted Christians vigorously. Under Valerian alone, many well-known known Christian leaders were martyred, including Cyprian (Bishop of Carthage), Sixtus II (Bishop of Rome) and Saint Lawrence.

The evidence for the early persecution of Christians is robust, including the 1st Century Biblical record, the 1st and 2nd Century Christian non-Biblical record, and the accounts of ancient 1st and 2nd pagan historians and writers. Like any cumulative case, the strength of this evidence is compounded by the diversity of the sources. Is the early persecution of Christians simply a myth created by Christians to advance the cause of Christianity? Those who propose such a theory must account for the following:

The records of persecution originate over the entire course of Christian history, from New Testament era to the 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation of Christian believers

The records of persecution originate in geographically diverse locations

The records of persecution originate in culturally diverse Christian communities

The records of persecution originate from both Biblical and non-Biblical authors

The records of persecution originate from both Christian and non-Christian authors

The records of persecution were unopposed by ancient objectors

While skeptics in our day may deny the ancient Christian claims of martyrdom, the opponents of antiquity were silent.
