Gold & the New World Order

I believe the discipline of Economics has a fatal flaw - it assumes a degree of rationality of which our specie is devoid. It also assumes you can reason with power - you cannot. Finally, and fatally, it has failed to integrate globalization into any of its fundamental schools of thought.

All the rational argument in the world will not convince those in power (by wealth, social position or politics) to act rationally because 1. it would not be in their interest to do so 2. because that minority, elite, rich, powerful, many sociopaths and/or - already know the rational positions of the various schools, and they have made it their business to circumvent them or bend them to serve their own purposes, and 3. they hold the rest of us in complete and utter contempt - expressed in private often using terminology that is shocking, demeaning and exasperating to the listener.

It is counter-intuitive to assume that they can be convinced to abandon privilege and adhere to any of the optional disciplines en masse in their decision-making. They look for ways to skirt rules, laws and regulations without it costing them too much (even in terms other than financial).

In recent times this has involved hiring Ph.Ds in Math, Economists and a few MBAs who majored in Finance (those who accused the rest of us of shovelling clouds at B-School) to devise these new "creative" products - you know the list - sub-prime, CDOs, CSOs, MBSs, and now carbon credits - anything to achieve what economists and others interpret only in financial terms, failing to notice the elephant in the living room.

The mess we find ourselves in at the moment is grounded in finance but that is a means to an end. The end is the intertwining of monetary, political and, if necessary, military and police power (including private security agencies).

Our governments seem in agreement, especially with the most creative, read corrupt financial machinations, and while people of a conspiratorial bent, might assume that they have been bought and paid for, and while in some cases this may be true, it is an unfortunate over-simplification to let that stand as the sole tenet of the argument.

It is undeniably true that the recent recession was the result of what can only be deemed corruption. Ignorance, or feigned ignorance, by those in the most powerful positions in the western world should not satisfy anyone with regard to their culpability. Ignorance is no excuse in law. And a few short decades ago, ignorance would not have saved such people from the consequences of their actions or failure to act for the greater good.

The rather bizarre notions by which our unruly children - commerce and politics - have been conducting themselves, thanks mostly to the University of Chicago (Rockefeller High) and bogus Nobels, has fascinated some of us to the point that an interesting case study or a good mystery novel might. How could any educated manager or politician believe that business was to be run in the sole interest of the shareholder (when the managers are the major shareholders) and that the focus should be sort-term when all experience in modern corporate history was to the contrary. GE, P & G, Johnson and Johnson and similar enterprises have been around a long time for a reason, several reasons actually.

If I need to tell you what they are, stop reading. There is no hope for you, and quite possible little or none for the rest of us.

That governments and theoretically international (really U.S.) entities like the UN, World Bank, IMF, BIS, etc have not seem fit to eliminate the financial hokus pokus between double dips implies many politicians and judiciaries have been bought; that someone has put the fear of god into them; or that they are fellow ideologues (functionaries) not bright enough to know that they are not really members of the A Team and are disposable in due course.

Another major difficulty I have is that most of the Schools of Economics, including von Mises Austrian School, are based in a period when nations and perhaps a few empires were in power, and therefore had to be kept functional, within certain limits. The various theories were more or less adequate to that purpose, if one were to be able to convince oneself that the flaws of each approach wee acceptable under given circumstances.

If we are stuck with economists, it is time that they came up with a modern theory to deal with the harsh realities of globalization. Any government or any empire, no matter how great their hegemony, can only extend informal power beyond its sovereign borders. That is where their ability - even if they wished to be socially responsible - to apply law, regulation or policy ends....at their borders.

There are now very few capitalists extant, beyond those in the quickly-fading real economy. We now have corporatists, and this implies much more than a semantic difference. A rich and powerful elite has just successfully engineered the largest transfer of wealth to the top 2-3% of Western Society in history. If there is any extra wealth in the hands of those in the middle, business or individual, they will be coaxed back into the markets (stocks/bonds) or they will be sold on the idea that carbon taxes, turned onto another "creative" investment that is "Triple A," or, alternatively, encouraged to take on more debt; and the last remaining semblance of wealth in the middle of out three-tier system (capitalism) will be mopped up.

I don't believe this is necessarily a mass conspiracy, although there certainly has been collusion. And there has been a coup d'état in the West - using money and technology - to engineer the recent recession. There will be a second "dip", if deemed necessary.

What has happened of late has taken place because it could - as Clinton said of his young page. It has been an inter-generational dream for several centuries, but the technology to facilitate its fruition simply did not exist. War could not do the trick. But then along can Bill Gates and a phalanx of young people who created and refined an evolutionionary/revolutionary technology of immense potential for good or evil.

As this technology evolved to global proportions, bring wondrous benefits to mankind around the globe, the Internet in particular was a tipping point at which it caught the attention and has allowed an elite (a small, not necessarily more brilliant sector of society) to play "out of bounds," using a new rule book, the book of no rules.

Banks and global corporations play out their centuries old dreams of minority world political, monetary and technological dominance in cyberspace - money is electronic - it can be transferred around the globe in a nano second. And money is power.

Economists (and many others) are simply behind the curve in this regard. There is no government or branch of government, including the law and the regulators, even were they so inclined, able to cope with people and entities who function beyond their jurisdictions. Those that theoretically exist - the UN, IMF, World Bank, BIS, etc are powerless within a global context.

In addition, by using outmoded economic theory, one is inclined to consider symptoms, i.e. given aspects of macroeconomic reality we have never had before in history.

Corporatism and the political power it can buy or seize by force (including cyber force) is in very few and often unknown hands. Economists still discuss Keynes, Friedman and Von Mises, plus all variations on their central thesis, as if these antiquated ideas held any relevance to a global reality in which all the rules have changed or been eliminated and where money and social position is an even more direct road to power because troublesome politicians and the law have been eliminated from the equation.

The world is not ruled by governments, democratic or otherwise. It is now ruled by the captains of globalization using cyber technology and the manipulation of money and markets to push politicians aside and assume almost absolute power unto themselves. Some politicians (few) seem aware and are concerned; other are bought, along with media, or are oblivious to the fact that they are now merely tolerated.

Some politicians and policy analysts, then, have partly grasped that economists is global, but they remain unwilling to sacrifice sovereignty in order to cope with the new reality. As long as corporations and those who control them function globally while governments or empires try to retain local or sovereign political power, corporatists win the power struggle by default.

They control governments. Governments exercise no real authority over them. Those in government and it agencies, including the courts, who have not been bought, can easily be frightened into compliance - carrot or stick. Either way, government power is now a myth, particularly in the Western democracies, diminished almost to the point of irrelevancy.

Would that the term, New World Order, were not so "loaded'' with connotations of conspiracy. Otherwise, it could be quite useful. Let's look at globalized commerce:

First, there has been a complete rupture between financial services and the real economy; and I don't think one economist has focused on the fact that there has been, nor what it means.

Second, now more than ever before, economics dominates politics. And economic models were perverted to engineer the recent recession in a way that had nothing to do with money, other than to eliminate the Middle Class and cut government and its agencies down to size. It was a bold-faced attempt to seize power, on the back of the new cyber technology, which worked. In the US The Treasury and the Fed; in Germany, the Bundesbank; and in China, the government, acting as figure heads for financial powers that be made ever decision which caused the recession, scripted the way it has played out; and will determine its outcome. Any economist or politician who believes otherwise is delusional.

Even in out little backwater, Canada, the U.S. trained Governor of the Bank of Canada has acted in lock-step with his formed colleagues in the U.S. --- we are awash in subprime; we have a huge debt - public and private; we expanded the money supply far in excess of what the previous Governor would tolerate (having retired he at first spoke out quite intensely in warning, but has been silenced; our (roundly praised) banking system is no different than big banks in the U.S. - they had their balance sheets repaired, get money interest free in exchange for the most toxic assets, and have used the newly minted cash to inflate the TSX, rather than loan to small and medium sized business in the real economy; unemployment has soared; tax revenue has crashed and the government was forced to open a trading window in an attempt to get money to business. No reports on its success or failure; but Monetary Easing for infrastructure projects - oh yes - provided it could be matched by the provinces and completed within too tight a timeline. Through in a Winter Olympics, ironically with no snow, and the masses are happy, even if Parliament has been close (prorogued) almost throughout to prevent uncomfortable questions being asked.
At this point I could proceed through a whole checklist of items, issues and nostrums which I see aired nightly on TV's Cable Channels and daily in major newspapers. I have, I confess, at some point been forced to tune it all out. There have been moments of despair.

To use a very blunt analogy, if a friend shows me a new laser weapon, capable of eliminating a living target, and I accidentally or deliberately kill him, do I shoot him again in exactly the same way hoping to restore him to life? Is that not what we are doing in financial services?

The "mechanics" as I refer to them who brought us recession, including those at a certain bank in NY which has moved its computers into the NYSE, so as to front run incoming orders, think they are doing "God's Work", shouldn't that brings out the people with the one armed jacket. A tiny, relatively powerless group of idiots called "The Family" gets worldwide exposure for trying to sidle up to politicians. They aren't any smarter than economists who argue strategy from the last war, seemingly unaware that there is a new war taking place --- or are some of them, dare I say, paid to distract, organ-grinder's moneys, who think themselves among the elite because of have been once invited to Bilderberg or given a trumped-up Nobel prize.

Let me be clear here - what we have is a confluence of influence and events. Tax exempt "think tanks" by invitation are a great recruiting tool by the elite. Former Presidents Carter and Clinton and our current Prime Minister Harper - think about it - who brought them to the dance to use Brian Mulroney's old expression. Remember him, Reagan's old pal. Now Obama? How did these small bit players suddenly emerge onto the national stage; who funded their campaigns; and why have or will they all leave office as wealthy men.

Pre cyber-power, those questions were easier to answer. The public knew they ran with a certain pack before they were elected. We are all big boys and girls here, so there is nothing new in that. It has only been since U-Tube that I realized (I hope I'm not alone) where the more unlikely among this group were anointed. They were brought to these meetings to see if they had the right stuff, and would co-operate after election. When the time arrived to spring the financial trap, they recruited an innocent into the White House and a true blue believer into the PM's Residence on Sussex Drive.

All either had to do was stay out of the way. Obama, being such an academic, has his head so far in the clouds that they could simply stand him in a corner; and Harper has kept the Parliament tied up in distractions and adjournments to the point that there is no government standing watch, deliberately so. And like the U.S., our media is corporate.

I'm sure the elite, as they call themselves was orgasmic.

There will be no middle class in North America; and we will at some point be joined in and economic and eventual political alliance, just as we now see occurring in Europe. Just as the EU was a regional experiment, and this week they will see if Greece will surrender its national sovereignty to Brussels - linking financial services and political power, in which case the rest of Club Med will have to follow. 

So too, the U.S, is pushing deeper into Latin America. They have a culture of oligarchs and no middle class, so at least in the beginning, to grease the skids, we must be positioned strategically so that we mesh. We already have Trilateral status secured, and now it is time to move to a Transamerican economic and later political system, based on the E.U.

Which brings me to Gold. We know that during this transitional period, the wealthy are taking or trying to take physical possession of bullion (bars) in London and NY. We know they have been bribed - given cash in lieu or in addition to bullion in storage to remain silent about how much bullion is there. We also know that some Arab states have moved their bullion to the Vaults in Dubai while China (Taiwan) has moved theirs to vaults near the new airport on the Island. Now we know that there is too much paper gold in circulation if our figures are accurate (above ground).

But an interesting question has been raised recently about whether there might be more gold that originally thought above ground - whether it be Nazi Gold in Swiss Banks of Japanese Gold taken during their per and during WWII escapades all over Asia - especially the Philippines.

Economists and Gold bugs have marvelled for years at how a cartel could keep the price of gold deflated at their convenience. If there had been gold laundered thought London, where 95% is in a pool, it would have been terribly easy to simply release this onto the markets - if there were a surplus very few knew existed. I don't particularly care which army or which government eventually ended up with the plundered goodies, the fact is, that they had a control mechanism, par excellence.

It would have taken considerably more intelligence than I think most of them could claim to have managed the market without a "float" for want of a better term. Yes they could always bribe the elite, using cash and an appeal to their loyalty to the top 2-3% of the population to which they claim affiliation. And with constant inflation in fiat currency, such individuals would have had no difficulty finding a use for the cash.

Last night on the news, I heard one economist pronounce that were we to return to a gold standard, the price of gold would have to be astronomical. I would like to see Shadow Government Statistics assess that claim.

There have also been rumours in recent weeks about the U.S. inflating out of debt, and introducing a new currency with gold backing. This is much more likely if there is surplus gold. Fort Knox has not been audited in over 50 years, and while it is tempting to think they have something to hide, they may or may not. And as unlikely as it would seem, the same is true in London.

If either scenario proved to be the case, i.e. more or less bullion that we thought, due to plunder, what would be the impact in terms of the grand strategy - assuming the corporatists remain in control using cyber technology - and whenever necessary, conventional totalitarian methods to keep things the way they like them?

Anyone who thinks I have been watching too much U-Tube by the way should spend less that $20 and buy a copy of Rockefeller's Memoirs - something in the order of 500 pages. He had the confidence just a few short years ago to lay out his plan for the New World Order, but his makes his pragmatism clear. He understand that there can be consensus about where they want to be, but not necessarily in how they get there, and find that acceptable.

He also sees the potential for all things non-democratic, but, having nothing but contempt for the people we elect, he asks, could an elite do any worse. In a way this goes back to Plato's Republic where a groomed elite runs a society, except in the end, they want it to be the world. And as anyone who has taken Introductory Philosophy will know, there is a case to be made for it. My concern, as I mentioned at the beginning, is tat I doubt we as a specie have evolved sufficiently to successfully implement such a system.

We have not done a great job historically at managing conventional corporations, countries or empires. To be arrogant enough to think we are ready to assume the mantle of managing globally - both financially and politically - is a little too much for me to wrap my head around.

And yet, the technology is here, the corporate entities - banks and other corporations are here. There is a terrible gap in our economic and ethical foundation to allow us to assume such responsibility, so it would seem we have little choice. Ready or not, we must come to grips with a new reality.

In a way, it is like nuclear weaponry. It's creators knew it might take us beyond the limits of acquired wisdom. We would have the ability to destroy the planet. Well, I would suggest that globalization and its twin Corporatism has a similar capacity, as we witnessed recently. And like Chernobyl, we may not be out of the woods yet.

A total economic crash could literally send us back to the dark ages. We have the US, EU and China competing to command. Their visions of the New World order are quite different. Were either economy or currency to crash without the option of support from other Central Banks, things could turn nasty rather quickly. Similarly, if there is more gold, and we can have a gold standard of some sort, there will always be the temptation for one or the other to make a grab for the laurel wreath.

One wild card is the Pentagon. It has obviously take additional prerogatives from the President. Past General have been fired for disagreeing with the White House publicly, and yet top military officers have consistently gone further than MacArthur without consequence. Eisenhower warned of the dangers of the military industrial complex, just as some of the nation's founding fathers warned about banks and fiat money.

In China the military has urged a response to the US being more supportive of Taiwan. And while Obama has consistently stated a withdrawal date from the Middle East, his generals publicly disagree. Historically, this has always resulted in firings. Knowing about the drug running that occurred in Viet Nam, I cannot help but wonder how much of the reluctance of the generals to withdraw is based on drug money - and whether that money is going to private accounts or to support black-ops around the world.

So here were are . We have seen gold try to break through $1100 USDX this week and not quite do it. Economists have provided the most ridiculous arguments to explain the situation - all based in out of date economic theory of one school or another.

The question must be - what is the future of gold given globalization? Did the bribes given the rich imply there was a shortage because of leveraging (paper gold in all its forms) or that there was more and that had to be kept secret as it would be used to support a new currency USD or global at some point based on a gold standard? I confess, I think the elites would want a gold backed currency because it would keep them in control financially and, therefore, politically. 

They have no intention of letting stupid politicians blow it for them if they can position themselves in the way they have always wanted. They realize, they will have their hands full in the period of social and political transition, and they don't want to have to worry about currency collapse.

My best guess - there is more gold than we think - and we will soon see a gold-backed currency. What that means is an substantial increase in the price of gold, but not a monstrous one. The currency will be new; the average person will be confused - as when we switched to metric. And government will be in the back seat as the elites run the world using cyber technology. That can be done ethically or requite totalitarian measures, depending on how smart our elites truly are. Fingers crossed.

The Pope of Rome is here in the Philippines for a 4 day visit. We see pope mania almost everywhere. The country is excited to see this man whom they believed to be a Holy Father. The pope's visit is given a theme of "Mercy and Compassion". Some believed his mission is to repair a Church that is now in the brink of destruction? Well perhaps his visit to the Visayas particularly in Rome-aldez country will be truly merciful and compassionate that he will help repair literally the whole storm devastated towns of Visayan Island most specifically in Tacloban City. If truly he will be showing mercy and compassion he should be giving donations sufficient enough to rebuild Tacloban and neighbouring towns. But I doubt it... let us wait if he will give some of  the gold and money of Roman Catholic church ... the wealth hidden in the vault of Vatican City. If he is truly God's representative here on this earth he will have Mercy and Compassion to this Roman Catholic country that is mostly poor and under nourished compared to the west where food is wasted everyday!

It is surprising why many so-called "Pinoys" or Filipinos doesn't want to accept the fact that the country is full of corrupt religious leaders in the government. Perhaps it is because it is embedded in our culture.? 'May kasabihan, kung ano ang puno siya rin ang bunga.' We are numb because it has become part of us our culture and we are used to it. 'Nakasanayan na nating mga noypi?' For more than four hundred years Roman Catholicism who was brought by the Spaniards is still dominating our country's government. You can call me anti-Roman Catholic but history tells us that Romanism is a corrupt religion that should be rejected. With hundred of cases of pedophilia, human rights violations against nations and cultures, including falsification of documents together with conspiracy in acquiring land and riches of other kingdom and nations, the Philippines is just one of many of them who suffered injustice and deception from the hands of this pseudo-religion who has a great influence in the world's ruling class and mass media. I strongly believe we have been deceived and it is not too late to get out of her. Romanism is a false religion! The Bible predicts her coming destruction and His Spirit is calling us out of Babylon!!! 

The coming of Pope Francis I.. I believe will usher in another new level of deception and of course corruption designed specifically  for this country and our neighbours. It is sad that many ignore the fact that Jesuitism is an evil society who is not only devoted to secrecy and corruption but also murder of innocent people who are against Popery. This coming 15 to 19 of January 2015 we will witness another chain of events that seems harmless on the outside but spiritually it will envoke legion of demonic forces to continue bring havoc in the spirit in this land. For many the effect of his coming seems good on the surface temporarily but it is like a contagious disease that will slowly corrupt the hearts and minds of many and will make them accept a false God and Christ to achieve the ancient Luciferian plan of a Unified One World System... a resurrection of the tower of Babel. Doctrinally speaking not only against the very teachings of the Apostles but of Christ as well. Take heed and be not deceived!

A few years ago I was in the Middle East and was talking to an OFW and I cannot forget what she said to me...  "it is sometimes embarassing to be a Filipina".. the look on her face is enough and I know what she meant. It is like being in a mall and by the clothing you wear and perfume you use or by your smell many people around you can tell what is your socio-economic status and background. Most Filipinos are working in other countries because of unemployment in the Philippines, then not to mention of the low wages and standard of safety rules and benefits. We tend to immigrate because of socio-economic problem in the country even though we miss the feeling of ''feel at home'' and warm weather. 'Masaya sa Pinas pero walang pera eh.' It is better abroad because most of us are generally lacking materially speaking. 'Hindi sapat ang kinkita!'  This saying is what most poor people say. But many seems to be blind. They cannot tell religion can also bring them to a life that is miserable and wanting. We tend to ignore religion is not the cause. The truth is religion plays a major part in our culture... our culture was shaped by Romanism mainly in Luzon and Visayas. We learn from school our culture is still on the process of getting rid of colonial mentality. Are we really on the process? 'Ipinanganak akong Katoliko, mamatay akong katoliko!' This is a wrong belief and saying. But we believe this is true because this is what we hear from our parents or from others. We have been deceived and misinformed. We have been robbed of our identity and culture. Not to mention the material wealth that should belong to us like gold and land. Many of us now are landless and many foreign names like Spanish-Filipino names own vast amount of land in this nation. Si Juan ay tamad, ngunit si Nog-nog ay totoong masipag at mabuti. Sa totoo lang si Juan ay Filipino at si Nog-nog ay dugong malaya! Our ancestors fought until the last drop of their blood against the people who brought this corrupt religion to this land. We are suffering because of our false belief that is presently eating the very fabric of this nation. Our government and church are both corrupt. The Spanish friars had left, but their rotten religion is still here and sending many souls to hell. The name Philip had become a trademark on our souls... and of course on our nation. Our identity is not original but an imitation. It doesn't belong to us... it is a foreign brand! A Spanish Portuguese brand that doesn't belong here. Parang baka, may tatak na pinasuan sa pigi kung sino ang may-ari. Ganon din ang Filipino.. tatak ng Hari ng Espanya! I believe unless God and His Spirit change us we cannot do a single thing. A monergistic process must first occur before we can be changed within.. then our culture will see those who are truly in Christ. Reformed Churches are instrumental in changing this nation. If God permits, our land will prosper not in terms of material wealth... but culturally. A rich culture with good government and social class. A society with people in the government who are God fearing, honest and truly public servants. Free education for the masses, free hospitalization and health care are just signs and benefits of a good government and honest public officials. The cost of living will be affordable and poverty will disappear. Crime rate will plummet and succumb. Evil can be resisted and stopped. But looking at the world now and the state of our nation, these things seems impossible. It is impossible to those who are not in Christ. 

The Curse and Blessing of Malaya 2015.

The Malay culture in the so-called Philippines is a hybrid race as some people put it because of the heavy influence and deceptions of the "Jesuit Masonic Illuminati" controlled local and international Mass Media. As believers in the teachings of Christ, we are aware that the present cultural education is heavily bombarded by "Luciferian" indoctrination and propaganda through the mainstream public and private educational system. To isolate yourself from these things is considered abnormal based from the so-called norms of our present westernized society. The present religion that is dominating the culture of the land is obviously erroneous but the norm is that it should be accepted because the law of the land say so. Well, we can blame it on the Spanish and Portuguese Romanists who brought their popish religion via conquests and inquisitions. Then the so-called Americans came and colonized us deceitfully and used Masonic infiltration that helped our nation in creating a masonic republic. Maybe we can agree with the teachings of Mohammed also that was widely accepted by our ancestors and the present inhabitants in Southern Malaya? If you like we can revive the pre-historic religion and ancient beliefs of our ancestors that is originally Babylonian, you know like Hinduism and Buddhism, sun and moon, and animistic worship? It would be foolish of course to do these things unless we haven't got The Spirit of God who is our Helper, our Comforter and Counselor.

Looking at the world towards Rome we will see indeed Babylon has fallen! "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird." (Rev.18:2) You know this verse is horrifying to properly elaborate. I believe many cannot see the truth about our present world... to me reading this verse open my eyes to see a place that in the spirit it is a place where evil here on earth comes from! This place is also like Sodom and Gomorrah that God will destroy in an hour. She is called The Whore of Babylon! Yeah it is true, the Devil lives in the Vatican literally!? He is in Mecca too and in Washington, D.C. in the White House? I think he also smokes pot while in India during Holi Days at Hyderabad. The Devil is not like God who is omnipresence, but a created being who likes rock n roll and MTV. He has his own flying saucers and unidentified machines, and flashy sport cars. He is present when there is a Judas Priest concert, KISS, Lady Gaga and he also goes to South Korea helping the popularity of K-pop? Then do you know he was also in Manila last 2012 with Lamb of God and The Black Dahlia Murder Live? The god of this world is targeting our children... the new generation. No wonder why every World Youth Day there is a Rock Concert free of charge. Let us not be deceived that music that is satanically inspired is being used to program our children to rebel and disobey God. 2015 in the Gregorian Calendar is full of schedule of Satanic events worldwide. This is in the form of Satanic rock concerts, pseudo-Christian pagan feasts and celebrations, including new and latest "Jesuit Masonic Illuminati" buildings, monuments and technologies (war machines and gadgets, etc.). While in the movie industries we will see films that are made to counter the truth about dragons (dinosaurs) and creations of God. Films and TV programmes that are made to deny the fundamental teachings of Christ and Reformed faith but encourage occult and new age beliefs.

Talking about the Gregorian calendar that is now a widely accepted calendar system of the Christian Western Civilizations. The whole world is now using this calendar no matter how bad you discredit its background. We know there are some issues about it. However, we cannot be bound by it. You can use lunar and solar calendar... the Mayan Calendar, Chinese Calendar, Japanese, Jewish Calendar and even the Old Hindu calendar used by our ancient ancestors.But if your heart is not in tuned with the Spirit of God and His Word, you will have no ability to discern what is truly going on in our world, the events and signs of the time. It is the Spirit of Christ that guides us in knowing what day and hour it is in Him. Many cults have been misled by pseudo astrology and astronomy because they have trusted in human wisdom and cultic interpretation of the Holy Scripture. Hence, many come into a false conclusion of the events prior to the coming of Christ and His return. (see Mark 13:6 )

It would be difficult to trace back the exact date using a specific calendaring system how old the Universe is. Noah's flood played a major part in hiding and keeping disclosed many artifacts and details of our past, even technologies that will make our modern know how obsolete? For there are some discrepancies although we know by faith that the Earth is young and not millions and millions of years old for the Bible tells us so. "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." (Heb. 11:3) I believe if not because of men of God who are gifted in "studies" of Creation based from the scriptures, history and archaeology, many Christians would have been deceived by atheists, 20th Century Darwinian Evolutionists and alike. If you tell your friend who is not a Bible believer about stories like the time stopped for Joshua, and it ran backwards for Hezekiah (see 2 Kings 20:9-11 or READ IT ALL HERE.), they might think you are crazy. The post-modern world and the NWO is making a society where education is tailor made to get rid of the God of the Bible literally! One of their goal is to make education "secular" and literally get rid of religion and any faith in God. Our response and defence is simple. We must keep on reading and studying the KJV and good Bible translations and if possible learn Koine Greek ,Biblical Hebrew and Aramaic Language. We worship God because Christ has enabled us and His word is truth.

Well, let us not fear and keep on hoping and trusting in Him. We know the truth about history that we are from Adam. Because of Adam and Eve's disobedience the human race is sinful and the whole creation is cursed. Cain murdered Abel, King David sinned and was also a murderer. Peter denied his Lord three times. We live in a fallen world where evil is present and suffering come side by side. Common grace is bestowed upon us all. Rich and poor, black and white, able and disabled. Today we see many people blame God and are discontented because of many mishap and tragedies. They have chosen to curse God and blaspheme His name. Even Solomon in his wisdom and wealth had become a fool and then worshiped idols. Some believe it is destiny. Perhaps the story doesn't end that way and we are misinformed?

But there is one thing we know that is very clear. Our God is a faithful and a covenant keeping God who is always there even when we are faithless. (see Deuteronomy 7:9) We have the assurance and security in Him. God is satisfied for what Christ has once and for all accomplished and that is when He offered Himself for the Elect. This article is based upon formerly secret documents that were declassified without fanfare and published by the U.S. Department of State in 2006, but apparently gathered the proverbial dust on the shelves since then — unnoticed until now by prying journalistic eyes.

In Sept., 1970 Imelda Marcos, then the First Lady of the Philippines, feared that domestic political opposition threatened plans by her husband, President Ferdinand Marcos, to revise the Philippine constitution and thus extend his term in office, which would otherwise lapse in 1973. When Mrs. Marcos flew to Washington, D.C. that Sept., she was able to obtain a private audience in the White House with U.S. President Richard Nixon.

The First Lady also summoned Director of Central Intelligence Richard Helms to her suite in the Madison Hotel — the presidential suite. The declassified State Department and White House documents reveal that in her Sept. 22 private meetings with Nixon and Helms, Mrs. Marcos asked for some $23 million in CIA covert funding. The money was to be used to buy political support to elect pro-Marcos delegates to the Constitutional Convention two months later.

Mrs. Marcos these days is perceived in the public mind as a comic figure, thanks to her famous love of expensive shoes and jewelry. But in her prime, the politically ambitious First Lady was considered a woman with an independent power base who was accordingly treated with respect by heads of state.

Imelda Marcos, who turns 81 on July 2, has just been elected to the Philippine congress, having replaced her son, Rep. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, who was elected to the senate in the May 10 elections. Bongbong, 52, earned honors at Oxford and an advanced degree from the Wharton business school, and could be poised to run for president in the 2016 elections. Bongbong’s elder sister, Imee Marcos, 56, is the newly elected governor of Ilocos Norte.

Then, Mrs. Marcos was not content to seek only CIA assistance. Before going on to Washington, she had reached out to a higher authority. She flew to Italy where she had a private audience with Pope Paul VI. In that meeting, the First Lady vented her frustrations with internal political opposition from the Catholic Church in Manila, specially, she complained, from the liberal Jesuits. What could His Holiness do to help?

These revelations are hardly likely to be regarded as ancient history. This is because the same Philippine family dynasties that have been jockeying for power for more than four decades are still at it — while the same controversies involving possible revision of the country’s constitution that Imelda Marcos raised in 1970 are still the stuff of current headlines in Manila.

And beyond the little slice of history, there is a broader context for the story. This week the Philippines — which doesn’t get much press beyond Asia — will be in the international headlines. On Wednesday, Filipinos will inaugurate a new president. — marking another opportunity for a fresh start that would get their laggard economy moving in the right direction. It is conceivable — if not likely — that the Philippines could, at long last, be primed to become another Asian tiger, or perhaps a tiger-cub economy.

Plea for ‘crash program’

The fact that Imelda and her husband were presiding over their country’s long economic decline was hardly on Imelda Marcos’s mind back in Sept., 1970. When she flew to Washington that month, the First Lady was thinking in terms of how to dominate the political opposition.

According to a well-received 1988 biography entitled “Imelda: Steel Butterfly of the Philippines,” written by prize-winning journalist Katherine Ellison, Nixon “had acknowledged his guest’s stature by inviting her to stay at Blair House, the White House guest quarters usually reserved for visiting chiefs of state.” But as the Blair House was undergoing renovations, Nixon ended up putting Mrs. Marcos in the Madison’s presidential suite, “where her bill for five days came to $1,068.87, paid for by the U.S. State Department.”

The official documents relating to Mrs. Marcos’s Sept., 1970 trip to Washington, D.C. are contained in a 744-page volume published four years ago by the State Department, as part of its ongoing historical “Foreign Relations of the United States” series. Tucked away in the section of the book that deals with the official U.S.-Philippine diplomatic record is a memorandum of a “conversation between the Director of Central Intelligence and Madam Imelda Marcos, Wife of the Philippines President.” The DCI was Richard Helms. The researchers had found the Helms document in the intelligence files of the National Security Council in Richard Nixon’s White House. It had been classified Secret; Eyes Only.

The memorandum notes that U.S. ambassador to the Philippines Henry Byroade and his special assistant, James Rafferty, “made the introductions” to Helms and an unnamed CIA officer, “and then withdrew” from the suite. In those days, Byroade was known to be close to Ferdinand Marcos, and Rafferty was reputed to be a close associate-of — and even somewhat of a political fixer for — the First Lady.

The CIA officials’ meeting with Mrs. Marcos in her suite at the Madison was on Sept. 22, 1970, and lasted 35 minutes. Earlier that day, the First Lady had met in the White House with Nixon and his national security adviser, Henry Kissinger, although “no other record” of that meeting “has been found,” a footnote in the Helms’ memorandum reported. But the CIA’s memo clearly relates what was on Mrs. Marcos’s mind, as she explained it to the American spymasters.

“Madam Marcos began her presentation by drawing attention to the forthcoming 10 November 1970 elections for delegates to a constitutional convention in the Philippines, planned for June-July 1971,” the memo related. “She said socialist movements sponsored by certain lay and clerical elements in the Catholic Church, particularly the Jesuits, and some Communist fronts are planning to contest administration candidates in the election.”

The CIA memo explained Mrs. Marcos’ pitch: “She believes that the Marcos Administration could lose the election by default unless a crash program is organized to help it win. She noted that the Church has already picked candidates, either priests or lay persons, for each election district. Should those groups succeed in achieving their objectives, it would change the form of government in the Philippines to Socialism or Communism, with only a few people realizing what the real consequences would be. She underscored her view that Philippine democracy is viable but will not survive unless the United States helps the Marcos Administration through this difficult period.”

The memo also related that Mrs. Marcos told Helms that “the Philippines is a child of the U.S. and illustrated this point by describing Vietnam as a French baby, Malaysia as an English baby, and Thailand as everybody’s baby.” In Asia, the First Lady asserted, “one’s creditability (sic) is not measured by how one treats a friend, but how one treats his children.” In those days, Mrs. Marcos let it be known that she considered herself a sort-of political mother to Filipinos; forty years later she refers to herself as her country’s grandmother.

When Helms asked what she meant by a crash CIA program, Mrs. Marcos rolled off the numbers, the memo relates: “Madam Marcos then said funding the election at the barrio level would mean 4,000 pesos for 35,000 barrios and also asked for more arms and helicopters to enable President Marcos to capture a fourth HUK leader, Commander Dante.”

HUK is the acronym for Philippine communist revolutionary forces that the CIA had first worked against in the 1950s. By the late 1960s, the HUK communists had morphed into what is still called the New People’s Army, although the CIA memo writer had not caught up to the distinction. In any event, the declassified documents do not elaborate further on the request for CIA help in capturing Commander Dante, the alias for Bernabe Buscayno, who would remain at large for several more years.

No basis for Imelda’s fears

Helms referred the First Lady’s request to the so-called 40 Committee, which met in the White House on Sept. 25, 1970. Then chaired by Henry Kissinger, the committee was comprised of high-level U.S. security officials who recommended covert actions to the president. Notes from the committee meeting expressed no reservations on moral grounds. Covert CIA support for politicians around the world, including the Philippines, was by then a venerable tradition.

In Sept., 1970 Nixon and Kissinger were busy ordering the CIA’s Helms to do what he could to prevent the election in Chile of leftist Salvador Allende (those efforts failed, but President Allende was subsequently ousted by his own military in a coup three years later, and committed suicide).

The 40 Committee referred the Marcos request to the State Department, for a more detailed analysis. The diplomats at Foggy Bottom quickly concluded that there was no basis for the First Lady’s fears that leftists would be able to dominate the Constitutional Convention: “Mrs. Marcos is the only person who professes to believe that the Philippine Constitutional Convention will be controlled by leftist elements. In fact, there are few observers who believe it will not be controlled by President and Mrs. Marcos.”

When the secret White House covert-actions committee met again on Oct. 6, it decided to reject the First Lady’s request. Mrs. Marcos had basically been “throwing curve balls around a leftist threat to the Constitutional Convention,” the committee’s minutes noted.

The formerly secret minutes from the Oct. 6 White House meeting also observed that President Marcos himself, who had been giving his wife considerable political leeway, felt that this time, she had gone too far. “It was also noted that Marcos was allegedly angered by his wife’s freewheeling; none of this had come directly from him and she might be launching personal political ambitions,” the official 40 Committee minutes reported. The Philippine strongman, the document added pointedly, although “no neophyte at feeding at our trough — had not yet asked for a peso.”

Papal visit

Although it was reported at the time that Mrs. Marcos had had a private audience with Pope Paul VI earlier in Sept., 1970, what was said behind the closed doors, to my best knowledge, has never before been reported. Richard Helms’ minutes of his Sept. 22 meeting in the Madison’s presidential suite give the gist of how the First Lady reported the meeting to the CIA. According to Helms’ notes, Mrs. Marcos’s papal visit “was not for the purpose of piety but to persuade him to make his visit to the Philippines in the third week of November, which would be after the election, to prevent the Catholic church in the Philippines from using his visit to further its political ambitions.”

According to Helms’ memo, Imelda Marcos reported that she had been only partly successful in persuading the Pope to give her some political cover: “She said the Pope suggested prayer as a possible answer but he also agreed to delay his visit.”

Postscript:

Pope Paul VI kept his word to Mrs. Marcos, as the Con-con elections of Nov. 10, 1970 preceded the two-day papal visit to Manila from Nov. 27-29. That visit made a little unintended history itself. Upon his arrival at the Manila airport, the Pope was attacked by a disturbed 35-year old Bolivian painter who wielded a Malay kris dagger. The Marcoses claimed that the knife was deflected by a swift presidential karate chop from an alert President Marcos, a version that was at variance with other accounts at the time, including the Vatican’s.

True to the American predictions, the Marcoses were able to dominate the Con-con, which met in 1971, and which was marked by persistent efforts to amend the country’s constitution to enable President Marcos to remain in office. While there were many reports at the time that the president and his wife had used widespread bribery to influence the delegates, the details of what actually transpired remain elusive (as to the facts behind so many Philippine scandals.”

In any event, President Marcos finally decided to remain in power by declaring martial law in Sept., 1972. He remained in office until he was deposed by Cory Aquino’s People Power demonstrations in 1986 — which were given powerful assistance from the same Catholic Church forces that Imelda Marcos had long complained about.

In 1977, President Marcos finally succeeded in capturing and jailing communist chief Bernabe Buscayno, a.k.a. Commander Dante. Buscayno later rejected violence, and was released in 1986 by Cory Aquino.

During the last several years, President Arroyo and her political allies have made headlines with their persistent efforts to convene another Constitutional Convention — with most of the controversy once again turning on fears of a hidden presidential agenda. But unlike Marcos, President Arroyo was not politically strong enough to impose martial law, and on Wednesday will step down from her office peaceably.

Half-way through 2010, both the Marcoses and the Aquinos are back in power — while their country remains poor.

The Marcos family declined requests for comment.

THE HEADLINE in the afternoon daily caught one’s startled eye: Marcos Tags Jesuits on Revolt, and the reader’s instinctive reaction was that the President was giving the SJs more credit than they deserved.

“President Marcos today accused the Jesuits of inciting revolution in the Philippines,” the report began, bylined by a veteran Malacañang reporter. “Mr. Marcos hurled the accusation during a conference with newsmen this morning (March 2), adding that he will not countenance the ‘continued acts of rebellion’ by the religious order.’ The story was substantially duplicated in the other afternoon paper, and its lead was even more dramatic: Marcos declared today an open war against the Jesuits…

The Malacañang ploy however backfired, and reaction set in favor of the Jesuits. The following morning the Palace issued a blanket denial of the reports. Its tone was typically self-serving and innocucus:

“The President believes that the Jesuits in the Philippines are fully aware of the separation between the church and the state and will not risk being publicly condemned for interference in the affairs of government.”

Two leading Jesuit officials immediately took up the cudgels for their order. The reaction of Fr. Horacio de la Costa, provincial superior of the Society, was a model of understatement: “If the President has been correctly reported as saying what he did, I would like to state, with all due respect, that he must have been misinformed …

“As for interfering with the affairs of the state, I would simply say that those of us who are Filipinos believe that, as citizens of a free country, we have the right, and occasionally the duty, to speak our minds on what we believe to be the state of the nation, and how we believe that state can be improved to provide justice and a better life for all.”

The rejoinder of Fr. Pacifico Ortiz, Ateneo president, was more blunt: “It would be a tragedy which could bring us even nearer to revolution if no persons or institutions in this land could speak the truth about the state of the nation as he sees it without being branded as inciters of revolution.

“If we have come to such a pass, as indeed this accusation of the President might lead us to believe, then thought-control and fascism are just around the corner.”

An original impression of newsmen was that the President’s remarks had been printed in one of those “onion skin press releases.” In the trade, this means that a reporter’s contacts give him some “background” material, printed on onion-skin paper, “not for attribution.” The real story, however, subsequently filtered out to the press. Marcos had let down his guard, and revealed his feelings during an informal afternoon chat with newsmen while playing golf at the Palace greens.

The radicals were understandably annoyed, feeling that the President had conferred on the Jesuits a badge of honor reserved exclusively for their own militant groups. Those who know the Jesuits well were amused: very flattering really, but we haven’t reached that stage yet and we probably never will, unless we’re driven to it.

There may be one or two far-out radicals among the SJs, but the truth is that most of them have come out for peaceful reforms. And if only for this reason, they constitute no immediate, violent threat to men like Ferdinand E. Marcos.

Why FM Dislikes the Jesuits

The Jesuits for years now have been crying out for reforms, warning that the alternative would be a bloody revolution. This call naturally has not endeared them to the One in Power (and we do not mean the other world), it being a reflection on his Administration.

The Presidential distaste surfaced for all to see during the opening of the Seventh Congress, when Marcos openly seewled while Fr. Ortiz was delivering his invocation, causing newsmen present to exchange meaningful glances. Fr. Ortiz’s phrase — “trembling on the brink of revolution” — may sound a bit poetic, but his invocation also contained the following passage:

“With us into this hall, O God, we bring the growing fears, the dying hopes, the perished longings and expectations of a people who have lost their political innocence; a people who now know … that salvation, political or economic, does not come from above, from any one man or party or foreign ally; that in the last analysis, salvation can only come from below — from the people themselves …”

There are other reasons for the Presidential distaste for Jesuits and Jesuit-influenced laymen. Let us cite them here:

—Mr. Raul S. Manglapus, whom Mr. Marcos tried to win over to his side, unsuccessfully, not too long ago, and whose ideas he does not share. Item: Manglapus’ Decentralization bill, which sought to clip the powers of the Presidency, was opposed by Mr. Marcos. Item: the nationalistic Congressional Economic Planning Office (CEPO), which Mr. Manglapus staunchly supported, was suppressed by Mr. Marcos;

—the National Union of Students (NUSP), headed by an Atenean, Edgar Jopson, and the Young Christian Socialists (YCSP), headed by a Manglapus-influenced Bedan, Ben Maynigo, have been breathing down the Olympian neck of the President;

—A pamphlet by Fr. Vitaliano Gorospe, SJ, entitled “The Morality of Violence and Demonstrations,” which stated that violence on the part of the exploited masses is justifiable as a last resort. Now this may cause concern to those in the Establishment (particularly to those who may have been warned by their seeresses that they will be assassinated by a young man in the guise of a priest), but it is old hat really. It is inscribed in the Catechism books, and even Pope Paul — hardly a revolutionary — is not against it.

—The mysterious figure of one Fr. Jose Blanco, SJ, alleged to have unseated Mr. Sukarno with one fell swoop of his slender arms, and alleged further to have told a CSM seminar: the people better “rise up in arms before others will do it for them.”

In an interview with the Chronicle, Fr. Blanco said he had been misquoted, and that what he had actually stated was “what we need is a revolution of a change of heart… to convert someone to a real Christian, that is the revolution I sell.”

As for the allegations that he had been involved in the student uprising in Indonesia, Fr. Blanco said he had stayed in that country for six years as an English instructor, then had to leave when summoned to be near his ailing father. This slim and tall (for a Filipino) Jesuit is no stranger to controversy. Last year his remarks before another seminar — that Christ is not in the Sacrament but in the heart — were distorted and made to sound “heretical” and “communistic,” leading to a confrontation with the Archbishop of Manila which still has to be resolved satisfactorily.

Jesena and the Sacadas

—The report by Fr. Arsenio C. Jesena, of the Loyola House of Studies, which exposed the miserable conditions of the sacadas in Negros and which alienated President Marcos because his closest political allies belong to the Sugar Bloc.

The exposé opened with this sentence, almost Hemingway-like in its simplicity: “In April 1969 I went down to Negros to live as a sacada among the sacadas.” But as it began to describe in graphic detail the exploitation of the migrant workers under the hands of the hacenderos and the contratistas, the report took on a tone of bitter indictment:

“I saw the injustice of it all, and I began to understand why the Communists are Communists.”

The Jesena disclosures were an outstanding piece of Jesuit enterprise which capped the last year of the decade just over. In its wake came a challenge from the Christian Social Movement to the sugar planters to submit to an investigation. The planters agreed, then resorted to all sorts of delaying tactics. Early last month, impatient NUSP students took to the streets, and one of their demands was the immediate prosecution of sugar planters found violating labor laws.

This time a new task force team was formed, headed by Undersecretary of Labor Raoul Innocentes, and its findings substantially confirmed the Jesena report. From all indications a better deal is in store for the sacadas, thanks to Fr. Jesena and to others like him who in the past tried to secure justice in sugarland. May their tribe increase.

Ang saya naman.. wala na si Marcos.. ayayaman kami.. :P

Through the Pages of History

The Society of Jesus was founded in 1540 by Ignatius of Loyola, the soldier-saint — a symbol, to all Ateneans, of manliness and virtue. Under his unwavering tutelage, the vow of obedience became an asset rather than a liability. Jesuit influence spread, and by 1650, 500 colleges had been established on the European continent. “This was the great baroque period when Jesuit drama, ballet, art and music flourished,” notes the contemporary Jesuit poet and writer, John L’Heureux.

It was also the period, he adds, “when the accusations of ‘Jesuit price’ began, the political machinations of court favorites that would finally lead to the suppression of the Jesuit order.” The Jesuits had become a threat to the absolutist monarchs of France, Spain and the two Sicilies. The autocrats banded together and applied pressure on Pope Clement XIV. Accordingly, in 1773 a papal decree outlawed the Society. The reasons have never been clarified to the present day, and the Pontiff’s statement at the time, since then often quoted by historians, said his move was “suggested to Us by the principles of prudence and which We retain concealed in Our breast.”

The Society was restored in 1814, but the old militancy was gone. “Tradition,” says Fr. L’Heureux, “with its safety and its aura of respectability, embalmed the restored Society of Jesus … The spirit was crushed beneath mountains of legislation, and the Jesuits became a group of dedicated and harmless schoolteachers for the sons of the upper middle class.

“When a few years ago change finally came to the Jesuits, it came with a rapidity and a violence which neither they nor the Church was prepared.”

The history of the Jesuits in the Philippines is divided into two, the period of 1581 to 1768 and that of 1859 to the present. The first period is more colorful, and Fr. De la Costa in his voluminous work on the subject, tells of how a Jesuit secured the allegiance of Portuguese Macao to the Spanish crown, and of how a Jesuit represented the conquistadores of the Philippines.

Jesuits were also accredited ambassadors to the sultanates of Mindanao and the Moluccas. They sailed as chaplains in the Spanish ships that fought the Dutch for the sea lanes of Eastern Asia. The epoch of the Jesuits unfolds before a panorama of “sea battles, native customs, Portuguese rivalry, court intrigue, the opening of China, martyrdom and hard work.”

Although the Society was restored in 1814, the Jesuits did not return to the Philippines until 1859 and they, like their colleagues around the world, confined themselves to the schools, to missionary work and scientific study.

The SJs in the ’50s, ’80s

A Jesuit product acquires an extreme consciousness about his background. The feeling can be an ambivalent (accept-reject), one, and perhaps one could quote here the words of an American correspondent, a hardened newsman, to a young Filipino friend: “A Jesuit education is something to be thankful for, but it is also something to be suspicious about.”

Those fortunate (or, in the view of others, unfortunate) enough to receive an Ateneo education are immediately tagged as “Jesuit boys” — in derision or in envy. But you seldom hear the label applied to the products of the Christian Brothers, the Benedictines and the Dominicans. For when an Ateneo boy goes out into the world, he identifies himself with his Jesuit mentors — or rejects them altogether.

—The author studied for seven years under the Jesuits, during the ’50s, and the pleasant memories of that seemingly distant period go hand in hand with the unpleasant ones. Academic standards were maintained at all costs, and often at a heartbreaking cost. One student was not allowed to graduate because he had a grade of 74 in Social Science, and a 71 in Latin. This youth — an orphan whose mother toiled as a teacher so he could get a good education — was only 14 years old, and so the good fathers decided he was not fit to graduate from High School. He was told to repeat the year. His mother refused, and sent him to another college.

Discipline was exerted most during High School because this is the period when the student’s character is being formed. Punishment was swift, and, depending on the gravity of the offense, could come in the form of expulsion, suspension or the Saturday morning “post.” The latter consisted of strenuous calisthenics, forced marches around the campus, the “gripping” session, during which the student gripped his fingers unrelenting, and other devices worthy of the Inquisition. The atmosphere of the school was rigid, spartan.

But in the ’60s, the winds of change blowing throughout the Jesuit world reached our shores, and what a welcome breeze it was. Student dissent was now tolerated, even encouraged. Ateneans began to expand their horizons, and to involve themselves more extensively than before in social and political issues. A more aggressive nationalism reared its head, and the American Rector — “liked as a friend but disliked as a symbol” — resigned. The torch has been passed on to Fr. Ortiz, the second Filipino to become President of the Ateneo.

Extent of Jesuit Involvement in Social Action

The Jesuits run an Institute of Social Order, whose members conduct courses on credit unions, training programs, agricultural projects, family development and research. Complementing the Institute are the smaller like-minded organizations, like the Corps Youth Group of Fr. Blanco and the Mindanao Community Development Center.

In addition there are individual Jesuits who fan out to the barrios, to the slum districts and other underprivileged areas to improve conditions. You will find a Jesuit working with the parish priest of Sapang Palay, coordinating with Maryknoll students in Pansol, a small barrio behind that school, and with Ateneo students in Barranca another small barrio, in Marikina.

The Jesuits have a common ideology calles SPES, which stands for the Social, Political, Economic and Spiritual aspects of Filipino life. Within his field of competence, a Jesuit is expected to promote the common good in these four spheres.

In their drive to give the people a better life, the Jesuits are armed only with their ideas. Perhaps they provoke so much irritation among those in power because to the totalitarian mind, an idea can be just as dangerous as a Molotov cocktail hurled by an agent provocateur.#
